ICOSA is a small Western Cape civic-style party, founded by former Karoo district manager Truman Prince after his 2006 expulsion from the ANC, that presents itself as a community-driven alternative to both the ANC and the DA and appeals mainly to coloured voters in the Klein Karoo and Garden Route. Its website says the party is 'driven by the people and the communities it represent' and seeks a 'cohesive, equal, progressive, prosperous, orderly and free' South Africa with 'government fully accountable to the people'; no detailed policy programme is published.

Note: No opened 2026 candidate announcement or readable IEC party entry confirmed ICOSA's presence on November ballots. Kannaland, Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Witzenberg and Drakenstein remain places requiring verification, not a confirmed 2026 footprint. The opened party website still contains generic civic statements, 2021 posts and placeholder text rather than a dated 2026 programme. No 2026 manifesto or launch date was found. Search results about Kannaland administrative failures and rival-party allegations were not converted into ICOSA policy. The 9 April 2024 Daily Maverick source reopened: renaming Cape Town International Airport to Krotoa was discussed with PMC, but no pro/anti position was stated. Q16=0 remains an explicitly ambiguous discussion, stale_confirmed, not evidence of support for renaming. Historical leadership metadata is retained; its dispute was not resolved by this research.
