The opening painting is toned down and darkened so that the words lead: one line for the viewer appears over it a word at a time, and is then credited beneath as an ancient Sikhetha proverb. There is no title card. Each of the other paintings is introduced through pencil lines, ink and a soft bloom of colour. Eased camera motion, subtle layered depth, dust, light, grain and a wide letterboxed composition connect the scenes. The questions appear one at a time, each as a whole sentence over its own painting, and each stays fully legible for at least six seconds. They are questions for the viewer to consider; the film takes no side. The film contains no survey interface, website screenshots, browser frames, buttons or product demonstration. The Sikhetha name appears only on the small final black card, written once; .co.za then fades in after it to complete the web address, and the card fades to black at the end. The instrumental's first log-drum drop lands with the first question and its second with the fourth; the last question sits in a quiet keys and shaker breakdown. The music ends on a tonic hit under the wordmark. Accessibility The film works without sound. Every question is burned into the image as a whole sentence. The downloadable WebVTT carries the same on-screen words with their timings and is not enabled as a duplicate overlay. The 360p offline file runs at 22 fps to meet its size limit.
